6 Cookies and analysis tools used

We use so-called cookies on our website. These are small text files that are copied from a web server to your hard disk. Cookies contain information that can later be read by a web server in the domain in which the cookie was issued to you. Cookies cannot execute programs or place viruses on your computer. Cookies can be blocked by your browser. The help function in the menu bar of most web browsers explains how and to what extent you can block new cookies or generally deactivate the use of cookies. In this case, however, we will no longer be able to offer you some of the functions of our website.

We use the following tracking and analysis tools:

6.1 Google Analytics

This website uses the web analysis service Google Analytics ("Universal" module including anonymize IP function). The provider is Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has established an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield. The purpose of data collection is to analyze the flow of visitors to our website. Google uses the data and information obtained, among other things, to evaluate the use of our website in order to compile online reports for us. Google Analytics places a cookie in your browser. By setting the cookie, Google is able to analyze the use of our website. Each time you access a website on which a Google Analytics component has been integrated, the Internet browser is automatically prompted to transmit data to Google. No personal data is transmitted to Google in the process. The IP address collected by us is only forwarded to Google after it has been anonymized.

Google Analytics uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer to enable your use of this website to be analyzed. The usage information generated in this way is usually transferred to a US Google server and stored there. By activating IP anonymization on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

You have the option to object to the collection and processing of this data by Googleby downloading and installing this browser add-on.

As an alternative to the browser plug-in, you can clickthis link.

6.2 HubSpot

We use HubSpot, a service of HubSpot Inc (25 First Street, 2nd Floor Cambridge, MA 02141 United States) on our website for the purpose of online marketing. HubSpot is a software company from the USA with European headquarters in Ireland (One Dockland Central, Dublin 1, Ireland) and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. HubSpot is a web content management system and marketing automation system that we use, among other things, to create and manage our websites and to optimize our marketing measures. On some of our pages, it is possible to load content developed by us (e.g. e-books, checklists or white papers) after filling out a form. In this context, we collect contact information and possibly information on the demographics and origin of our visitors. This information is stored on HubSpot's servers. We can use this stored data to contact our visitors and find out in advance which of our services might be of interest to you.

We use the following applications: Forms, Lead flows, Ads.

The purpose of data collection is to analyze user behavior on our website. Based on the information obtained through the analysis, we can provide you with personalized content. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

A HubSpot application uses so-called "web beacons" (web bugs or tracking pixels) and also sets cookies, which are stored on your computer and enable us to analyze your use of the website. HubSpot evaluates the information collected (e.g. IP address, geographical location, type of browser, duration of the visit and pages accessed) on our behalf to generate reports on the visit and the pages visited.

Web counting pixels are tiny graphics with a unique identifier. Their function is similar to that of cookies, and they are used to track the online movements of web users. Unlike cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, tracking pixels are embedded invisibly on websites or in emails and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We use tracking pixels in our HTML-based emails to track which emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to measure the effectiveness of certain communications and our marketing campaigns. We link the data collected from tracking pixels in emails to the personal data of our customers. We use all the information collected exclusively to optimize our marketing measures.

If you generally do not want HubSpot to collect data, you can prevent the storage of cookies at any time by adjusting your browser settings accordingly or assert your rights as a data subject with HubSpot. Upon request, HubSpot will provide you with information about whether HubSpot has stored any of your personal data. To exercise your data subject rights, please send an email toprivacy@hubspot.com or by post to HubSpot, Inc. 25 First Street, 2nd Floor, Cambridge, MA 02141 USA, Attention: Privacy.

You can find more information about how HubSpot workshere in the privacy policy of HubSpot Inc..

6.3 Hotjar

This website uses the analysis and feedback tool Hotjar (Hotjar Ltd, Level 2, St Julians Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julians STJ 1000, Malta, Europe). The passive collection of data from randomly selected users serves to optimize the website and improve the user experience. In addition to recording interactions (such as clicks and mouse movements), other information such as date, time and browser information is collected and stored anonymously. This allows user preferences as well as technical problems with the site to be identified and processed. The information is not personal data. The data is analyzed for statistical purposes. It is not passed on to third parties by Hotjar. The purpose of data collection is to optimize our website. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

You can object to the collection of data on this website by setting the DoNotTrack header in your browser. However, if you delete cookies, use a different browser or use private mode/incognito mode, this will result in data being collected again. The data generated in the process (such as time of use or browser language) is transmitted to AddThis and processed there. If you send content from our website to social networks, a connection can be established between your visit to the website and your user profile on the relevant social network. The purpose of data collection is the analysis of visitor flows and the optimization of our website. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

The data subject can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the Internet browser used would also prevent AddThis from setting a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. In addition, cookies already set by AddThis can be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs.

The data subject also has the option of permanently objecting to the processing of personal data by AddThis. To do this, the data subject mustpress the opt-out button under the linkhttp://www.addthis.com/privacy/opt-out, which sets an opt-out cookie. The opt-out cookie set with the objection is stored on the information technology system used by the data subject. If the cookies on the data subject's system are deleted after an objection, the data subject must call up the link again and set a new opt-out cookie. However, if the opt-out cookie is set, it is possible that the data subject will no longer be able to use the controller's website to its full extent. Further information on data processing and data protection by AddThis can be found athttp://www.addthis.com/privacy/privacy-policy.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Art. 6 para. 1 lit f GDPR (legitimate interest) and serves to optimize our online offer and our website. Since the privacy of our visitors is important to us, the data that may allow a reference to an individual person, such as the IP address, login or device identifiers, are anonymized or pseudonymized as soon as possible. No other use, merging with other data from etracker or disclosure to third parties takes place.

You can object to the data processing described above at any time, insofar as it is personal. More information: https://www.etracker.com/datenschutz/
